Receptionist

Thornaby Academy is part of the newly formed Teesside Learning Trust, a Multi Academy Trust which was established on 1st September 2016. Teesside Learning Trust is comprised of two Primary Academies in Redcar and Cleveland, and two Secondary Academies, Thornaby Academy in Stockton and Freebrough Academy in Redcar and Cleveland. 

Led by a strong and effective Board of Trustees, Teesside Learning Trust is ambitious for all of our students and is keen to establish itself as a centre of excellence in the North East region.  Students benefit from the resources and expertise across the four schools within the Trust and we are in a great position to develop a smooth and seamless transition between primary and secondary schools for our students.  Being part of a much bigger entity also brings opportunities for the development of staff and succession planning opportunities

Receptionist (ref TH1804) 

We are looking for a confident and highly motivated individual to provide an efficient Reception service within the Academy. As the first point of call for parents and visitors, you will maintain a professional, friendly and welcoming manner at all times. The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our pre-employment checks. 

Salary: Scale point 14-16 £17,681 - £18,319 per annum (£14,818 to £15,352 pro rata) 

Start Date: as soon as possible 

Contract Type: 37 hours per week, term time only 

Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8am-3.30pm 

Closing date: 12 noon Monday 5th November 2018

 Interviews: w/c 12th November
