Academy Receptionist

Willenhall E-ACT Academy are currently recruiting for an experienced Receptionist to make an immediate impact. The ideal candidate will have an excellent telephone manner, strong written and verbal communication as well as good organisation skills. 

The successful candidate will be friendly and approachable whilst always providing a high level of customer service. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our Academy. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organisation. 

You will welcome guests and greet visitors to the academy. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls and messages. To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking skills are essential for this position. 

This role requires 5 additional days to be worked out of term time, so flexibility is a plus.

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Answering the telephone, transferring calls and taking / passing on messages  

• Front of House / Greeting visitors 

• Providing front door security 

• Excellent IT skills are needed; you will be proficient within Microsoft packages 

• Opening and distributing incoming post 

• Processing outgoing mail 

• Other administrative duties as required  

• Previous customer service or receptionist experience is essential. 

We are looking for a professional Receptionist to work Monday to Friday 08:00am -16:00pm.  Candidates will be expected to have proof of GCSE qualifications in Maths and English at grade A*-C and NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline.
