Job overview

Regional Coordinator

Permanent

South West - Bristol

The link between low income and low academic attainment is greater in the UK than almost any other developed nation. Children eligible for free school meals are less likely to get good GCSEs and go on to higher education. This makes it more likely they will struggle throughout their lives, widening social inequality. It’s a cycle that we’re determined to break.

We work with thousands of brilliant teachers, schools, universities and partners in England and Wales and we are seeking an exceptional Regional Coordinator, to join our local area team in the South West.

The Regional Coordinator supports the Regional Director and wider team by leading on all administrative processes and systems locally. The role will be pivotal in ensuring that logistical, financial and administrative issues are managed effectively.  You will be joining a team that value the importance of high-quality administrative support. You will play a key role in enabling us to fulfil the charity’s aims in the region, by supporting us to operate effectively as a team and as individuals.

Ideally you will have experience of providing effective administration support to a busy team in a fast-paced organisation. Critically you will have strong prioritisation, planning and administrative skills, including the ability to use Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. Some experience providing PA and/or events experience would be desirable. However, we are also interested in less experienced, ambitious candidates with an appetite to grow in a high-performing team.

Along with the satisfaction of knowing you are working for an organisation who are making a real difference, you will also receive £21,460 per annum & excellent benefits, including a personalised development plan aligned to your interests, allowing you to become an expert in aspects of the role e.g. events planning, PA support.

The day when no child’s future is limited by their background is coming, yet, there is still more to be done. Join us and help us ensure every child in the UK has a fair shot at achieving their ambitions.
