The Catholic Diocese of Westminster is home to the Archbishop of Westminster, Westminster Cathedral, over 200 parishes and over 215 schools in seventeen Local Authorities in London north of the river, Hertfordshire and Surrey and is a registered charity of significant proportions.

We are currently seeking a Primary Religious Education Advisor to join our Diocesan Education Service, providing professional support to our primary schools in all matters relating to Religious Education and the Catholic Life of the school.

The post-holders will work within a team of advisors supporting schools in pre and post inspection work as well as assisting in wider departmental initiatives to develop all aspects of Catholic education.  Regular travel to schools in the diocese will be a requirement of the role.

Excellent communication; experience of teaching Primary RE; organisation and team working skills together with a commitment to the ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church are absolutely essential.

These posts are subject to a DBS Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barred List check.

The posts will commence in September 2018.

Hours of work: 35 hours per week including regular evening work as required, with infrequent weekend commitment

Salary: £44-48k per annum
