Are you looking for the first step on the career ladder?   

We are looking for an apprentice to join our friendly, hardworking administration team. You will be based in the school’s office and you will play an essential part in the delivery of a first rate service to our many stakeholders, including visitors, parents, staff and pupils.   

Reprographics & Display 

Under the direction of your line manager, you will play an essential role in delivering our Reprographics Service to the school community, which will include photocopying, printing and helping with displays around the school. You will have a keen eye for detail and possess an artistic flair.  

Administration 

Under the direction of your line manager, you will be fully trained in order to assist with a variety of administrative tasks. At times, you may be asked to assist with reception duties. We will help you to develop your communication and organisational skills.  

First Aid 

You will be fully trained as a first aider in order to deliver essential first-aid to pupils and students.  

Other 

One day a week you will go to college to undertake training in office skills.  To be successful, you will need passes at GCSE in at least five subjects including English and Maths.  You will have studied in a sixth form in a school or college ideally achieving Level 3 qualifications and now be ready to move on into the world of work.  

You need to be presentable, communicate well on the telephone, in writing and in person, have good computer skills and be willing to be flexible and hard working.
