Resident Graduate Assistant
To commence September 2019 (One Year, Fixed Term Contract)
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a graduate seeking to gain first-hand, practical experience of education through active participation in Boarding life and Co-curricular activities.
Whilst the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to Sport/Games and/or the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme, the College would also be open to accommodating other areas of interest/talents (e.g., Art, Music, Drama, CCF etc.).
This is a ‘live-in’ position and accommodation is provided (permanently across the whole 2019/20 academic year) in return for undertaking Boarding duties (2 full evenings out-of-seven each week plus up to 6 Sundays (10.00-4.00) per academic year).

Wycliffe is an HMC co-educational day and boarding school. Wycliffe is located in Stonehouse, approximately 25 miles north of Bristol and 15 miles south of Cheltenham and Gloucester. Access via the motorway network is convenient (we are 3 miles from the M5) and there is a train station in Stonehouse (on the main line from London to Cheltenham) which is just a two minute walk from the school gates. In the Senior School pupils join at Year 9 (age 13) and continue until Year 13 (age 18). There are around 420 pupils in the school and 225 in the Sixth Form. Some 27 subjects are offered at A Level including Japanese, Film Studies, Computer Science and Psychology. Three BTECs are on offer as well as the EPQ. Main sports are rugby, football and cricket for boys with hockey, netball and tennis for girls. Wycliffe is the top school in the UK for squash, and excels at rowing and basketball and there is a thriving CCF.
