Residential Boarding Manager
From September 2022
Leighton Park is looking to appoint a Residential House Manager with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work alongside our boarding House Team. This is a residential role and is pivotal to the success of the boarding experience at Leighton Park.
As a Residential Boarding Manager, your warm and empathetic personality, tactful manner and good listening skills will be essential to build harmonious relationships with all students, staff and parents. Your excellent communication skills and ‘can do’ attitude will take our House provision beyond outstanding. Discretion and confidentiality are paramount with this role as is a genuine understanding of the needs of teenagers. The role will require you to demonstrate excellent levels of planning and organisational skills to manage the daily operations of the boarding House.
House Managers will need to be computer literate and hold an up to date first aid qualification. Training will be given in child protection, safeguarding, dispensing medicines and on our, boarding software, REACH.
