Oswestry School seeks a female assistant to support girls sport, boarding and the wider life of this busy school. The role is necessarily residential and will involve coaching, general supervision, and sport administration during the day, as well as providing boarding supervision and activity leadership on some weekends and evenings.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead coaching sessions in at least one of the School’s major girls sports (Netball & Hockey.) An interest in or experience in Swimming would also be desirable. Coaching qualifications or experience of a high-level sport are desirable as are any lifeguard and Swimming coaching qualifications. The role will suit a recent sports graduate looking to move into the arena of coaching or teaching.
The School benefits from excellent facilities including artificial pitch, spin bikes room with weights studio, swimming pool, and a new sports hall with two indoor netball/tennis courts the prime usage but other sports are catered for in this environment comfortably.
