Job overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is willing and committed to being part of our community. This important and exciting role will be instrumental in ensuring we continue to fulfil our safeguarding responsibilities, and you will make a significant difference to maintaining and raising further standards of safeguarding in our college.

As Safeguarding Coordinator, you will take a lead role in ensuring that statutory procedures and Local Authority Safeguarding Procedures are in place and effectively implemented. You will also take a lead role in coordinating the provision of support in college for students on a child protection plan, children in need, vulnerable students and children at risk of harm/in need of child protection: liaising with students, parents, carers and outside agencies as appropriate, and keeping records, analysing information and producing reports as required.
