 Wyke is an established, highly successful Sixth Form College with an outstanding reputation in the locality. The college draws students from Kingston-upon-Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, and further afield. The largest and one of the most successful A-level provider in the area, we offer applicants the opportunity to work alongside committed colleagues who have enabled our students to achieve high levels of success. At Wyke we put the student first and all decisions centre around staff working together to meet their best interests.

The College has a strong pastoral system with each student having a specialist personal tutor who are all overseen by Senior Tutors. There is also a learning support team and an in-house counselling service available to students.

Wyke is looking to recruit a calm, approachable individual who has excellent judgement and experience supporting young people with safeguarding issues. They will work with the Assistant Principal responsible for safeguarding and the rest of the pastoral team to ensure students are protected and supported. The successful candidate will be trained to level 3 in safeguarding. Some flexibility in working hours is required to deal with issues that are not resolved by the end of the college day.
