If you are a caring individual who is interested in learning more within this field or are looking to further develop your knowledge around safeguarding, this could be the role for you!

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and meticulous individual to work as part of our busy and incredibly strong safeguarding team, supporting the effective operation of the Academy’s safeguarding service on a day-to-day basis. The post holder will act as a first point of contact for any safeguarding and child protection concerns, providing timely, relevant support and advice in order to safeguard students, making external referrals to a range of agencies, as and when appropriate.

Whilst experience in this field would be beneficial, full training will be provided. Applications are encouraged from candidates with previous experience of working with children and families or from candidates who have a keen interest in this area and are looking to develop their knowledge and expertise in this field. The ability to build and maintain good relationships and communicate effectively with students, parents/carers, colleagues and external agencies is essential.

We are based in Old Basford, Nottingham, an area that continues to grow and thrive at a rapid rate. The Ellis Guilford Academy joined Creative Education Trust in September 2018. This has enabled the school to continue its rigorous pursuit of rapid improvement for the children it teaches.
