We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Safeguarding Officer to join the HEART pastoral team at Trinity High School and Sixth Form Centre. The candidate will support the Designated Safeguarding Lead on implementing child protection and safeguarding policies for the school, whilst working directly with children in need, and their families. They will be responsible for providing guidance to parents and carers, and co-ordinating planned support and interventions as part of agreed plans for students.

The Safeguarding officer role will also carry the additional responsibility of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) working with our safeguarding leader.

This is a permanent, 37 hours per week, term time plus five inset days contract.

  • has the ability to form effective relationships with students and parents/carers.

About Trinity High School and Sixth Form Centre

Trinity High School and Sixth Form Centre is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Worcestershire, serving students from the age of 13-18. The secondary school, situated in Redditch has approximately 934 students on record.

Formerly Redditch County High School, the school opened in 1932, being renamed to Abbey High School in 1974 when it changed from a grammar to a comprehensive school. The school reopened as Trinity High School and Sixth Form Centre in 2001, and in the same same year converted to academy status. It was identified as good by Ofsted in 2015.
