Safeguarding Support Assistant
In accordance to ‘Keeping Children Safe 2015’ all education providers have a legal duty of care to safeguard children. Within the Tudor Grange Samworth Academy we are working to ensure that this is a priority. In fact, due to the high level of need and number of students identified as vulnerable on roll, we currently require an additional member of staff within our Safeguarding Team.
We are now seeking to appoint a professional with an understanding of the “Early Help” pathway. We are looking for a person who is confident engaging with children (of all ages), families, carers and professionals in both formal and informal settings. You must be IT literate and have an awareness and understanding of the variety of risks posed to children and young people, and must be willing to actively contribute to multi-agency processes designed to safeguard them.
