Bolingbroke Academy, a secondary school for 11-18 year olds, welcomed its first Year 7 pupils in September 2012, with another 120 pupils joining every year until the school is fully subscribed in 2018. This is an exciting opportunity to work in our successful Academy and to join our dedicated team of staff. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic School Administrator (Pupil Support) with a strong administrative background (ideally within the educational sphere) to provide a high quality, comprehensive pupil focused administrative support service to the Academy.
The ideal candidate will:
- have experience of offering administrative and clerical support, ideally within a school setting;
- have a high level of IT skills;
- have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders;
- have strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines;
- be committed to Bolingbroke Academy’s ethos of high expectations.

Salary: Ark Support Staff Pay Scale (Inner London), Band 5, Points 15 - 22: £20,583 -£24,376 per annum. The starting salary for this position is expected to be Point 15, with advancement to point 22 via incremental progression.
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week) term time, plus 5 weeks

Training Opportunities
Our HR and Teaching and Learning teams are dedicated to offering the best development for all staff joining the academy, challenging and supporting staff to excel in their roles. In order to deliver exceptional training, we offer twice as many training days as standard. For teaching staff, we offer weekly CPD sessions which are held on a vast array of topics and run by many staff all showcasing their expertise. To develop the trainers, we ensure all sessions are reviewed retrospectively providing feedback and suggesting presentation and content improvements. We also offer weekly line management for everyone, additional coaching sessions for new and trainee staff and a more regular and developmental appraisal system.
Wellbeing and Inclusion
At Bolingbroke we value the individual and encourage difference. To achieve this, we start with inclusive recruiting practices. Like all Ark academies, Bolingbroke Academy will specialise in mathematics. We also have a strong focus on music, which helps develop self-expression, self-discipline, performance and team work as well as building a strong sense of community through collective participation.
