Job overview
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated School Business Manager who will be responsible for the strategic development and management of finance, personnel, premises, facilities and health and safety, in conjunction with the Headteacher and Governing Body. Experience of a similar role within a school and a Certificate in School Business Management will be a significant advantage, however not essential.
This post is part-time, two days a week (flexibility on which days) but there is a possibility of partnering with another school to make this a full-time position.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has proven experience of financial management
• Possesses finance and accounting skills
• Understands school management issues, including delivery of services and systems
• Is IT literate
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
