Kerr Mackie is a large primary school in the Roundhay area of Leeds. The school is multi cultural with pupils from a wide range of backgrounds. Our creative curriculum and teaching approaches together with the vibrant learning environments enthuse, engage and motivate our children.

We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated School Business Manager who will be working in close partnership with the Headteacher and Senior Leaders. The postholder will be responsible for the general management and administration function of the school, which will include the management of all administrative staff and superintendnet. The postholder will have key responsibilities around ensuring the school is compliant with all statutory guidelines, managing all finance related tasks and completing all personnel related documentation, along with other key responsiblities outlined in the job description. The postholder will be required to report and communicate on a regular basis with Governors throughout the year. The postholder will need to be self motivated and have the ability to use their own initiative and be proactive in all areas of their role. The role is full and varied and the postholer should demonstrate their skills in the application form and should read through the skills matrix to ensure they meet all the demands of the role.

About Kerr Mackie Primary School

Kerr Mackie is a large primary school with 473 pupils aged between 3 and 11, located in Roundhay, north Leeds. The school serves a diverse community with approximately half of the pupils being of Asian or Asian British backgrounds.
