School Chef

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and well-motivated Chef to join our thriving Prep School. 

Hours: 40 hours per week during term time and 2 allocated days at the start and end of each term during school holidays

Salary: £20,000 to £24,000 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience

Responsible to: Headmistress and the Bursar 

An exciting opportunity has arisen here at Holland House School as we are now seeking to recruit a talented and ambitious Chef to join our Catering team.

As the School Chef, you will be preparing a variety of appetizing meals every day, with the support of your catering team. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the kitchen, the management of your team, promotion of good morale, maintenance of due diligence procedures and the associated book work required. 

We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible and friendly team player, who can demonstrate a proven ability to achieve budget targets, whilst providing a high-quality catering service. 

The successful candidate will continue to encourage the pupils to want to have a school meal and support the School’s desire to educate pupils to have a healthier lifestyle. You will promote and support the school aims and share in the corporate responsibility for the well-being of all pupils.
