Clifton High School is an academically selective, co-educational, independent day school for 600 pupils aged 3-18 years. Situated on a beautiful Bristol site, we operate the Diamond Edge Model of education underpinned by a strong pastoral and family ethos. 

 We are looking to appoint an experienced, qualified medical practitioner who will working alongside our School Nurse to provide clinically effective, high quality healthcare services and wellbeing advice for pupils in our school.

The role will be predominantly term time, Monday – Friday, 8:30am- 5:00pm. 

We would like to hear from candidates who will enjoy providing healthcare services, coordinating vaccination programmes, carrying out pupil medical checks, maintaining all necessary records and liaise closely with other members of the pastoral care team. 

The position will also be responsible for pupil wellbeing, meeting with individual pupils, as well as developing school wellbeing strategies and providing staff training, where appropriate. We would be especially interested in hearing from candidates who have had some working experience of occupational health.

The successful candidate will enjoy contributing to an excellent working environment for pupils, staff, parents and the wider School community.
