School Improvement Director (Primary) – full, part, flexible working considered

The post holder will inspire confidence in those around them and work with others to create a shared strategic vision. At the core of this will be the educational and personal development of all our children in line with the ethos and values of our Trust.

They will take a lead in improving standards of teaching and learning and will value enthusiasm and innovation in others.  It is crucial that the successful candidate enjoys working with other people, seeks to develop individually as well part of a team and is keen to work in ways that encourage the sharing of ideas, and the widening of expertise.  They will have the confidence and ability to make management and organisational decisions whilst ensuring equality, access and entitlement to learning for all.  

A key element of this new and important role is to challenge and support school leaders to support them to be the best they can be, to improve performance, progress and the wellbeing of our children. The post holder will need to work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Headteachers and Senior leaders to develop effective strategies for school improvement across the Trust and support their consistent implementation at individual school level, with an unrelenting focus on outstanding progress for all students.  

The Director of School Improvement will monitor and evaluate school performance, ensuring that outcomes and recommendations are reported directly to Trustees.
