Are you an experienced school leader, committed to enabling flourishing communities by working alongside school teams? Are you motivated by facilitating others in their leadership, continually improving the quality of provision across the Trust? Do you have the ability to develop a vision for our mathematics curriculum across our schools?

The role:

We are looking for two individuals who have proven Headship experience, ideally of more than one school in contrasting contexts. You will have experience of providing school to school support with high impact. You will be adept at thinking strategically about school improvement solutions and have experience of working beyond your own setting. We’ll need you to use all this experience to equip the Headteachers and senior leaders in our Trust to strive for the very best provision for every pupil. Working within an established School Improvement team, you will have a rigorous and systematic approach to monitoring and action planning, and be able to utilise your coaching skills. For one of these new roles, it would be great if you had a subject passion for maths.

We can offer:

  • A varied and rewarding role where you will be accountable for ensuring the educational success of pupils within the Trust.
  • The benefits of being part of an outward-facing, learning-centered Trust.
  • An established leadership structure and developing network of academies.
  • A wide range of professional development opportunities.
  • The opportunity to work with a diverse range of schools across three local authorities.

You will be:

  • Bringing successful leadership experience within primary education.
  • Be a thoughtful leader, with secure understanding of relevant research.
  • Professionally curious about removing pupils’ barriers to learning and developing those skills in others.
  • Committed to inclusion and ensuring all pupils have equitable provision.
  • Capable of establishing effective working relationships, working collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders to achieve school improvement.
  • Determined to develop the skills and professionalism of the Trust’s teachers and support staff.
  • Able to travel around the region as required.
  • An advocate of the values of the Trust and uphold the Christian ethos.

To discuss the role, please contact Sean Millar, Director of School Improvement on 07734 202518.

Closing date: 9am, Thursday 17 June 2021. Interviews will be held on the Wednesday 23 June 2021 in Exeter.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful candidates. Candidates are encouraged to read our Safeguarding policy before applying.
