School Keeper

Newton Prep is a successful and dynamic School for boys and girls aged between 3 and 13.  Located within short walking distance of Battersea Park and Queenstown Road railway stations.

We require a proactive and motivated team worker with good handyperson and people skills to join our Facilities team. Duties include porterage, security tasks including gate duty and general maintenance and repair duties of the building and grounds.

Core working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working alternate week shifts 7.30am to 4.00pm and 10.30am to 7.00pm. The post involves some weekend work during term time, for which additional payment will be made.

We are keen to hear from applicants with good communication and interpersonal skills, initiative and the ability to perform physical tasks. Previous maintenance and/or caretaking experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
