WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING TO RECRUIT A SCHOOL MEALS SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT TO START AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
YOUR GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD BE:
- To supervise children during the lunchtime break, includes setting up chairs, help serve up meals, cleaning and tidying in the dining hall
- To be on the premises between 11.15am and 1.45pm, Monday to Friday in term time only (12.5 hours per week).
- To be vigilant and alert to all aspects of health and safety during this time.
THE MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB AND ACCOUNTABILITIES ARE:
-To supervise the children in the dining areas and playgrounds. To ensure that lunchtime is a positive and enjoyable experience.
-To set up cutlery/drinks and trays for the children and ensure tables and chairs are tidy.
-To assist children with eating their packed lunch, choosing and eating their school dinners.
-Be vigilant in the area of safety, ensuring that wet floors, spills etc which could be hazardous to the children are dealt with promptly.
-To assist with the cleaning and tidying in the dining hall areas where appropriate.
-To have an understanding of Safeguarding to ensure the safety of the children at all times.
ACTUAL SALARY: £4,319.08
