Here at Meadstead Primary Academy we have a special and unique learning community that is proud to serve the village of Royston, and surrounding areas. Our staff commute not just from Barnsley, but from Wakefield, Doncaster, Sheffield and beyond.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-organised School Meals Supervisory Assistant who enjoys working with children to work alongside our friendly team of midday staff.  

Our aim is to make lunch times enjoyable, happy and safe for all our children. The successful applicant will promote positive behaviour and ensure the safety and good conduct of pupils in both the dinner hall and outside areas. They should enjoy working with children and adults and have good communication skills. The role will include supervising children’s meals and clearing up in the dining hall, as well as having responsibility for the supervision of children in the playground.
