St Peter’s Preparatory School is one of the most successful and forward-looking independent preparatory schools in the South West, awarded Excellent in all categories in a recent ISI Inspection (March 2020). We are seeking an experienced and personable individual to provide medical and pastoral support, care and advice to our day and boarding pupils and staff.
The School Nurse/Matron plays an integral role in the smooth-running of the school. The role is varied and includes caring for unwell or injured pupils and staff, providing pitch-side first aid for sports matches and supporting the Boarding Houseparents in the pastoral care of our boarders.
We are seeking someone with high level first aid qualifications and extensive relevant experience.
This is a term-time only post working 42.5 hours per week, 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday with a 30-minute unpaid break each day. The annual salary is £18,105.

St Peter’s School is an independent preparatory day and weekly boarding school for around 290 girls and boys between the ages of 3 and 13. Set in 28 beautiful acres overlooking the Exe Estuary, we offer a full and broad curriculum right from the start. St Peter’s operates five bus services covering Exeter, East Devon and The Teign Valley. We use our own 9-seater Tourneos and 17-seater vehicles and they are driven by St Peter’s employees.
