St Leonards School in St Andrews is seeking to appoint a full-time, School Receptionist/ MIS Administrator to join the School as soon as possible.
St Leonards is the only IB continuum school in Scotland. It is also one of the few in the UK and the only HMC school. The ethos and approach to learning of the IB permeates all areas of school life, within and outside the classroom.
The School is fully co-educational with 575 boys and girls on the roll from Year 1 to Year 13 (P1 to S6).
St Leonards is the only HMC IB continuum school in the UK following three IB programmes; the Primary Years Programme (PYP) from Years 1 to 6; the Middle Years Programme (MYP) from Years 7 to 9, and the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Years 12 and 13. A GCSE/IGCSE programme is followed in Years 10 and 11.
We are looking to appoint a full-time School Receptionist / MIS Administrator for a period of a year to provide a warm, welcoming and friendly first point of contact for the school, whether by email, phone or in person. In addition to this you will be required to support the Database and Data Compliance Officer to maintain effective Management Information Systems.
You will have previous relevant experience in working in an administrative, front facing role with excellent customer service skills. You will be a confident communicator both verbally and in writing and have proven IT and database administration skills. You will demonstrate a methodical approach to work, be able to work independently whilst paying meticulous attention to detail. You will be comfortable in dealing with people from all different levels of the organisation and have an approachable manner with a 'can do' attitude.
