Job overview
Aureus School is a brand new, state of the art comprehensive school that opened on the Great Western Park, Didcot in 2017. We are looking to expand our Site Team and are seeking a flexible School Site Assistant (Caretaker) to start as soon as possible on a part time, permanent basis (28 hours per week, 52 week contract). Working pattern is 1230-1800 Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility required. Actual salary is £12,831.
Core Purpose:
To support the Site Manager in all aspects of site management including a wide range of duties and responsibilities connected with the fabric and grounds of both schools. This includes school security, monitoring of contracts/contractors, routine maintenance and refurbishment, urgent cleaning requirements, set-up of furniture, equipment and facilities, minor repairs, suggested improvements, and to carry out pre-planned maintenance programme.
Occasional evening / weekend cover may be required as part of this role but only with prior agreement.
