Job overview

Rivington & Blackrod High School wish to appoint a School Technician to join our team. 

We are seeking a conscientious and energetic person with a wide range of practical skills.  You will work across both the Food Technology and Art & Photography departments, coordinating the use of practical technology resources and facilities and providing assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the Technology and Art curriculum which involves both GCSE, and all post 16 qualifications.

The day to day role is extremely varied and you will need to be able to adapt and prioritise jobs as they come in. 

Applicants will need to be flexible, punctual, reliable, well organised and able to clearly communicate with students and staff in a calm and professional manner. You must be able to work upon own initiative as well as part of a team.
