Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust (C.H.A.T.) is the Charitable Trust set up to run and manage four Primary and one Secondary Academies serving approximately 2500 children. Based in Enfield we are focused on driving up the quality of education provision and standards.

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated qualified first aider who has excellent skills and high professional standards to be involved in the strategic development and maintenance of a culture of outstanding safeguarding, welfare and protection of all our pupils. 

The School Welfare/ Medical Officer will follow-up on every absence with pupils as appropriate, in order to improve patterns over time. You will ensure all attendance is accurately recorded in accordance to the policy and monitor attendance as appropriate. The School Welfare/Medical Officer will engage with children and their parents/carers where poor attendance is identified as a barrier to learning. The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

You will be responsible for acting as one of the School's primary first aiders and provide support to students relating to their social, health, welfare, hygiene and emotional development needs. Liaising with parents/carers and staff to ensure the students' needs are met and promote attendance across the school. You should have experience of Epilepsy management, Epipen and Respiratory Conditions.
