Shrewsbury seeks to appoint a recent graduate to contribute to the School’s Science Faculties for a period of one year, with the possibility of extension.
The successful candidate will teach a significant timetable in the Science Faculty (Biology in particular). The post is suitable for a recent graduate, postgraduate or someone wishing to gain initial experience in the teaching profession. A good honours degree in Biology or a closely related subject is essential.
An ability and willingness to help with co-curricular activities and the boarding life of the School will be a requirement. It is also anticipated that the successful candidate will contribute to the wider academic life of the school, such as societies, debating, etc. In all of this, he/she will receive substantial support from Heads of Faculties.
