Monday to Thursday, Term Time only
Reigate School is an outstanding school that has recently converted to an Academy. We are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Lab Technician within a busy Science Department. The department is well resourced and there is an established team of teachers and technicians.
The successful candidate will assist with the provision of materials and equipment for lessons. We would anticipate hours to be 8am to 3pm but some flexibility may be considered.
The successful candidate will
• be able to prepare apparatus, materials and solutions and set up equipment and apparatus for use in practical lessons;
• collect, clear away and clean all apparatus after the practical lesson;
• have very good organisational and communication skills;
• be resourceful and flexible
• relevant laboratory experience, preferably within a school environment is desirable but not essential.
The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
