The Role - Science Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Science Teacher to lead on the school’s science priorities, prepare and deliver a science curriculum to pupils in KS2 and KS3 and prepare a curriculum for KS4 pupils who opt to take science to accreditation.

Essential requirements to be successful in the role are:

  • Be a Qualified Science Teacher (holding QTS or QTLS) with minimum of 2 years post- qualification teaching experience in either the Primary or SEND sector.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in education.
  • Experience of managing neurodiverse children with SEND, including ASC and/or SEMH.
  • Experience of coaching staff to improve their practice.
