We are looking to recruit a teacher of Science for a fixed term period of June 2018 to April 2019 to cover maternity leave.

· Students’ attitudes to learning are very positive. They have particularly warm relationships with teachers that help them make good progress in lessons
This is a successful Science department, consistently attaining results above the national average. In 2017, 76% of students achieved an A* - C in either Core Science, Additional Science, Biology, Chemistry or Physics GCSE. The department is fully resourced and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, supportive and forward thinking team.

In March 2019, Ofsted graded the school as ‘Good’ once again. The HMI Lead Inspector confirmed ‘The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection.’ The report also described the Headteacher as ‘…an outward-looking, dynamic and thoughtful leader’ who has ‘instigated a number of far-reaching and successful changes over the last few years.’ We believe that our Ofsted report describes the school accurately and are pleased with the comments in it.
