Located in a beautiful Pennine valley within easy access of major towns and cities, this successful, co-educational, day and boarding school for approximately 450 pupils between the ages of 3-18 requires a Science Teacher - KS3 & KS4 for January 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter. This post is full time but part time would be considered.

This outstanding  School has very good facilities and offers a wide range of educational opportunities for all pupils. The recent Independent School Inspection reported that teaching and learning are outstanding and are at the heart of all school activities at this friendly and caring school. About Rishworth School

Rishworth School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through independent day and boarding school situated in Rishworth, West Yorkshire. The school has a Christian ethos but welcomes students from all faiths. There are approximately 450 pupils at Rishworth, between the ages of 3-19.

Rishworth School was established in 1724 by John Wheelwright in a small building, now used as the school’s chapel. The junior school, Heathfield opened in 1951. The school is set around 130 acres of parkland. It is a founder member of the Society of Headmasters for Independent Schools (SHMIS). Rishworth and Heathfield both offer an extensive range of learning facilities and share a swimming pool, performing arts centre and playing fields.
