Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), recent teaching experience and we must be able to obtain a school performance reference.

Are you a highly motivated and inspirational Science Teacher that can deliver inspiring lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Physics?

We are currently seeking to recruit an exceptional Science Teacher on behalf  of a secondary academy based in Scunthorpe. The Science Teacher role is due to start in June 2021 on a full time basis. This role will start on a temporary basis with Vision for Education but can lead to being more long term/permanent with the school for the right candidate.

Following a successful Ofsted Inspection in 2016, the school was awarded National Support School status, This was in recognition of the remarkable journey made by the school with the support of its students, staff, parents/carers and governors.

The role:

The desired Science Teacher will be enthusiastic and highly motivated, ready to join a thriving and very successful department. The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5 and you will be expected to be involved in Science enrichment. The successful Science Teacher will have high expectations of behaviour and attainment and will have the ability to build positive relationships with others.

Requirements:

To be considered for the position of Teacher of Science you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have recent teaching experience

• Have the drive, determination and commitment to ensure students reach their full potential
