Crewe Engineering and Design are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed Science Technician to support and develop experiments and practical lessons for GCSE & A level and support the teaching staff in all areas of science and supervising student learning activities.

The suitable candidate will either have a good track record of excellent classroom practice and sustained added value outcomes for students and will have the opportunity to support the Science department across the differing ability KS4 and KS5 classes in brand new state-of-the-art facilities.

Initially the role is for 22.5 hours per week for 40 weeks + 3 weeks and will be reviewable at the end of the period.

Interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing 21st August 2017. With an anticipated start date of 4th September 2017.

Applicants for all posts will be subject to stringent vetting and induction processes.  The holder of this post will be required to work with children under the age of 18 in a position of trust, and is therefore, exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. 

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS Check with Barred List Information.  The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post
