Science Technician

If you offer good, basic background knowledge of Science, with academic or industrial laboratory experience, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a school where Science is an important and popular subject.

As a Science Technician, you will provide technical and practical assistance in all three Sciences to staff and students (Year 6 to Year 13), provide support with GCSE and A Level practical activities, support Science clubs in Year 7 and 8 and accompany trips to the Zoo, Science Museum and Salters Chemistry Competition.

The role also involves conducting risk assessments and complying with health and safety procedures.

You will be part of a team of 3 experienced Head of Departments, 2 full time teachers, 1 part-time teacher and 2 technicians, who are dedicated to providing a high-quality learning experience for our students.
