At Lambeth Academy, we live by our school motto to ‘be exceptional’. To achieve this, we need the best staff to bring out the best in every single student. For many of our children, this means equipping them with the knowledge, ambition and skill to attend university and go on to have a meaningful career.
We have a relentless focus on high standards, whether this is on the learning in classrooms, our students’ interactions around the Academy, or in raising their aspirations. We don’t overcomplicate things: teachers teach, and students learn. Anything that takes away from this core focus has to come second. We believe exceptional learning is about determining the simple things that work, doing them well, and doing them all the time. If you’d like to join us on this mission, please come and visit us – we’d be delighted to welcome you.
We are seeking to appoint an efficient and well organised person to join our existing Science team, providing practical support to the Senior Science Technician and teaching staff in our busy Science Department. The work is varied, rewarding and an exciting opportunity to help in the delivery of education to young people.
About Lambeth Academy: We are a diverse and vibrant community and are situated close to Clapham Common. Our vision is to achieve exemplary teaching which develops individual talents and abilities, and which realises the potential in everyone. With calm and friendly classrooms, staff and students have the perfect environment to do what they do best: teach and learn.
We are seeking to appoint committed and hardworking staff who are passionate about making a difference to the lives of our children and young people.
Additional information: It is important that all applicants complete the application process. Please send your application form to Cristina Popa at email@example.com. Please ask for an application form or you can download it from www.lambeth-academy.org/vacancies.
Lambeth Academy is part of United Learning, a large, and growing, group of schools aiming to offer a life changing education to children and young people across England.
Our schools work as a team and achieve more by sharing than any single school could. Our subject specialists, our Group-wide intranet, our own curriculum and our online learning portal all help us share knowledge and resource, helping to simplify work processes and manage workloads for an improved work-life balance.
As a Group, we can reward our staff better: with good career opportunities, better pay, benefits, and ultimately, the satisfaction of helping children to succeed. We invest in our staff wellbeing. Our academies each have at least eight INSET days per year (with three of those solely dedicated to planning), and an ongoing group-wide wellbeing programme. It's an ethos we call ‘the best in everyone’.
