An opportunity has arisen for a Science Technician to join our exciting and vibrant Science Department. The role involves working under the direction of a Senior Science Technician to provide departmental and practical classroom support. The science department at Horsforth comprises of 15 classroom teachers and 11 science laboratories. There are 3 prep rooms which are each tailored to each of the different science disciplines. The role involves a variety of tasks including the preparation of materials, maintaining and repairing equipment and supporting staff and students on their safe use.
This is an extremely busy position and the successful candidate must be hardworking, energetic, reliable and adaptable, with the ability to work independently to deal with issues as they arise and as a team player.
