Science Technician – (Term Time +10 Days)

NJC Scale 4 £20,903 - £24,491 FTE  (Pro-rata actual £19,162 – £22,451)

35 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.15pm


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and suitably experienced Science Technician to join a thriving team of science professionals.  Immediate start available.  

Calderstones has excellent science facilities with 15 purpose built laboratories, all linked to their own preparatory room.

The successful candidate will need a sound background in the sciences supported by a relevant qualification, a good working knowledge of ICT and the ability to prepare equipment for KS3 and KS4 classes; experience at ‘A’ Level would be an advantage.  Reporting to the Senior Science Technician, you will assist in co-ordinating the use of resources and provide assistance in meeting the practical needs of the science curriculum.
