Job overview

The school is described by Ofsted as "an outstanding school in 2016". 

We offer a comprehensive induction programme and training, as well as the support of colleagues and good relationships between staff and students. 

Due to our current Science Technician being promoted, we now have a vacancy. 

The post involves travel between the two school sites for which a taxi service operates at breaktimes or mileage is claimable with Business Use Insurance.

Hours: 36 hours per week x 39 weeks per annum (8.00am-16.00pm Monday to Friday). There is a requirement for the occasional evening work to provide cover for School Open Evenings.

Successful candidates will be notified by 2pm on Tuesday, 11th September 2018 of the interview programme which will involve a practical test, written test and formal interview. 

If shortlisted you will be required to bring original forms of identity, and any qualification certificates with you to the interview. An initial DBS check will also be done on the day.

Interviews will be held on Friday 14th September 2018 at Upper Site Oakthorpe Road, Palmers Green N13 5TY.

About St Anne's Catholic High School for Girls

St Anne’s is a girls-only, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school with sixth form spread across two campuses. The upper site campus is in Palmers Green, London, and the lower site campus in Enfield. It is a voluntary aided state school in the Archdiocese of Westminster. The school will provide 1,089 places for secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 11-18, when fully subscribed.

The school was founded in September 1994 as an amalgamation of The Holy Family Convent School and St Angela’s RC School, two other faith schools.
