Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an experienced Science Technician to work in a secondary school based in the Scunthorpe area. This position is due to start from September 2019 on a day to day basis, as and when required.


The desired Science Technician will be required to assist with the set up and pack up of practical Science lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Physics and may be required to assist within the class to ensure pupil safety.


The successful Science Technician will:

  • Be competent within a laboratory and confident using all scientific apparatus equipment
  • Be personable, friendly and approachable
  • Work well both within a team setting and on their own
  • Hold a minimum of a Level 5 qualification in the Sciences
