Science Technician

The post-holder will provide technical support across the range of Science disciplines, including Biology, Physics and Chemistry and more specialised areas including forensic science. The post-holder(s) will work in a number of laboratories across the two college sites, assisting lecturing staff in practical situations where required. Other duties include stores management, general maintenance, and Health and Safety checks and procedures.

The Technician will work closely with the Curriculum Leaders and course teams to advise of any curriculum needs to ensure that the working environment is maintained as an area of good practice.

The College will provide relevant training and updates in order to support the post holder.
