Scale 4 - Salary £18,829.71 - £19,865.08

32.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunch break

Term time only (39 weeks per annum)

St John Bosco College are looking to appoint  a confident and experienced  Science Technician to join a supportive, passionate and dedicated team of professionals.

Support staff are an essential part of school’s success. You will be expected to  assist students’ learning by:   

  • Managing practical lessons, which enhance pupils experience of science   
  • Providing guidance to teaching colleagues   
  • Supporting the technician service   
  • Supporting the health and safety of the department.

You must have good literacy and numeracy skills. You must be committed and reliable with excellent communication skills.  It is also an opportunity for career development as the school offers a regular training programme.
