Dubai British School is a thriving British international school, located in the Jumeirah Islands area of Dubais. A Taaleem school, DBSJP offers high quality education to over a thousand students aged 3 to 18.
The school is unique in many ways; it has been designed to the highest specifications with the 21st century learning needs of students in mind. The facilities are second to none and include a state-of-the-art performing arts theatre; radio station; large, light and airy classrooms; a competition 8-lane swimming pool with training pool; shaded outdoor learning spaces; a food technology room and a family-style dining facilities with a professional-standard kitchen.

Our Curriculum
The curriculum at DBSJP is modelled on the National Curriculum for England, significantly enhanced by 'Wow Learning', the study of Arabic throughout and a challenging set of GCSE and GCE A Level courses from Year 10 to Year 13. The opportunities that students enjoy outside the classroom are just as important as the main curriculum and we offer an extensive and varied extra-curricular activities programme (ECA).
What do we look for?
Due to KHDA regulations, we require our teachers to have one of the following:
- Bachelors of Education or PGCE and a degree in the subject area that you teach
- Experience teaching the National Curriculum for England in the UK or an international setting
