Founded in 1971 and opened as a family-oriented British School, it was one of the first of its kind in Madrid. Today, it is based on six sites,  in central Madrid and has over 1000 pupils. 

Hastings School follows the National Curriculum for England. At Primary we follow a creative, topic curriculum based on stories from all over the world. At Secondary level pupils prepare for IGCSE, AS and A Level examinations. Most pupils go to either British or Spanish universities. 

Hastings School is looking to appoint a full time Secondary Teacher of English from January 2020 (or earlier if possible). The candidate should be a strong Key Stage 3 and 4 teacher and the ability to teach up to A level would be an advantage. There is a possibility for the right candidate of being appointed as Assistant Head of English.
