About the role

Join our fast-paced international environment and you will teach geography, within a curriculum based on the National Curriculum for England, GCSEs/IGSCEs and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. You will have the ability to teach other subjects within the Humanities Department, such as history or business studies. You will challenge your students to set ambitious targets for themselves and seek out and implement innovative teaching practices to enhance the student experience and outcomes. You will be committed to the wider role of a teacher in an international school and be an enthusiastic form tutor and involve yourself in our care and guidance programme and co-curricular activities.

About you

Able to create a classroom culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved, ideally you will have a degree in mathematics or a science, a teaching qualification plus considerable teaching experience and knowledge of the curriculum. Receptive to feedback and ready to embrace change, you will be keen to share best practice with colleagues.

A strong ambassador for the school, you will be able to develop new ways to engage students and parents with the wider school and Nord Anglia Education community. Your strong motivation and communication skills will also enable you to create a feeling of energy, excitement and personal investment within the classroom. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for Hungary, which typically involves holding a European passport.

Selection Process

The closing date for application is 17th March 2019. Early applications are encouraged. For candidates not in Hungary,  interviews will be conducted by Skype or telephone.
