Teaching Geography in the Gulf of Thailand

A medium-sized, mid-tier international school located in the south of Thailand is looking for a Secondary Geography teacher. 

The role has a starting salary of 60,000 Baht per month and benefits include inclusion in a provident-style fund, accident and medical insurance, and visa and work permits paid for.

The successful applicant will be responsible for running Geography classes up to and including Year 11 (IGCSE).  There will be a certain emphasis on hands-on learning and where possible getting the students outside to see and experience the relevant learning objectives rather than pure theory based classroom learning.  Experience of having previously taught from the Cambridge International Curriculum will be advantageous.

Contract length: 24 months (completion of this academic and the full following year) following.  One or two-year contract extensions will be available after the completion of the initial contract.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it will be greatly beneficial if a candidate is already in Thailand.  If you are not already based in Thailand, it will be prudent to account for a potential two-week self-quarantine period that will have to be completed prior to the start of work.
