Colegio Anglo Colombiano (CAC) in Bogota, Colombia have asked Teacherhorizons to lead the search for an inspiring Head of Secondary to join their prestigious international school.

Opportunity

This is a wonderful opportunity to join an outstanding school in Colombia. The Head of Secondary will be responsible for leading the drive for continuous improvement in the secondary section.

CAC was established in 1956. It is a private, not for profit, co-educational and non-denominational international school, based upon the British educational system.

There are over 950 students and 105 staff members in the Secondary school. The Head of Secondary will oversee the curriculum and all aspects of teaching and learning, within the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP) and IB Middle Years (MYP) programmes, and the Colombian Standards. The Head of Secondary will also be expected to lead on INSET/teacher professional development. The school is particularly interested in candidates who have proven experience in school development and excellence, preferably within a renowned inspection/accreditation framework.

In the past few years Teacherhorizons have placed a number of teachers at the School and the feedback has been resoundingly positive.
