St. Patrick's International School in Barcelona is seeking a dedicated and skilled Secondary Maths teacher to join our team in September 2026. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about nurturing young minds and inspiring a love for learning in our students.

Requirements and Experience:

      Proven experience as a Secondary teacher.

      Experience teaching IGCSEs.

      Hold a Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the teaching subject or equivalent.

      Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

      Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons with a track record of achieving positive student outcomes.

      Strong understanding of pupils' development and Secondary education.

      Knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures.

      Commitment to the well-being and holistic development of Secondary pupils.

      Good ICT skills.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an online interview with interviews taking place throughout the recruitment process starting January 2026.

POST

Starting September 2026, we are looking for a motivated, flexible and dynamic Secondary Teacher who can teach the British Curriculum. The ideal candidate would be able to teach maths at all secondary key stages.

The post may also involve teaching KS3 science as part of the teaching timetable. Experience teaching science at KS3 will therefore be desirable (ideally with a physics specialism). The post would involve going on to teach physics at KS4 and 5.

 


Visa Requirements: Candidates must be an EU citizen or have a Spanish work visa to apply.
