Job overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join St Augustine’s College for the remainder of Term 2 this year.

St Augustine’s College is proud to offer a range of co-curricular learning experiences including cultural and sport opportunities.

In this full-time role you will:
• Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner centred, supportive, cooperative and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices
• Support the liturgical and prayer life of the school
• Collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy
• Proactively engage with professional renewal practices to enhance student outcomes, and
• Work with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school.

You will bring to the role:
• Relevant qualifications and experience across a combination of areas in Physical Education
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven organisational skills
• A clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum
• An ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers.
